Wind and sand

This summer it was the first time by the sea because weather is horrible - It is cloudy and rainy all the time. So finally me and my boyfriend decided to go to city Jurmala. In this city you can hear not only Latvian or Russian but also German, Estonian and other languages.
So when we got there the weather was terrible so we thought that we could explore the city not only sunbathing in sand. The architecture is amazing. There you can see how new buildings brilliantly match with old wooden buildings.
When we got back to the sea weather was much better and we even could show our bodies to the sun. The wind was so awful, that even now I have sands in my hair.
I can spend a lot of time at the beach if I have a book with me. This time I decided to take Peter Mayle's book "A Year in Provence." This book is so good in occasions like this. It reads so easily and the time flies away.

After some hours, clouds got darker and darker,so we slowly got back to the train station. While we were waiting the train, the ice cream cocktail and delicious chocolate cake passed our time.
It was such a nice day at the beach with my boyfriend and we absolutely enjoyed each others' company as always.
